Terms & Conditions & Policies
By confirming a booking with Ava & Co Events, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings.
Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Ava & Co Events reserves the right to cancel a booking if payment terms are not met.
2. Bond / Security Deposit
A refundable bond may be required for selected hire items.
The bond amount will be advised at the time of booking.
Bonds will be refunded within 48 hours of item return, provided all items are returned in original condition.
Ava & Co Events reserves the right to deduct from the bond to cover damage, loss, repair, replacement, or excessive cleaning.
3. Hire Period
Standard hire period is 24 hours unless otherwise agreed.
Extended hire periods may incur additional fees.
Late returns will attract additional hire charges at the discretion of Ava & Co Events.
4. Pickup Hire
Customers who select pickup are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is suitable for safe transport.
All items must be properly secured during transit.
Ava & Co Events is not responsible for any damage occurring once items have left our premises.
Items must be returned within the agreed timeframe and in the same condition as collected.
5. Delivery & Collection
Delivery:
We offer delivery, setup and collection across Sydney for your convenience
Delivery is available for orders with a minimum hire spend of $200 and is calculated based on distance from Leppington, NSW
Delivery pricing will be provided when enquiring and depends on location, access and the size of the items being hired
Pick up:
Customers are welcome to collect hire items from Leppington, NSW free of charge
Please ensure that your vehicle is suitable for transporting items safely, taking into consideration the size and dimensions of the hire products
It is highly recommended that you use enclosed transport to protect items during transport. If using an open vehicle or trailer, transport may be weather dependent to ensure items remain protected.
All damages that are incurred during transport will be at the full responsibility of the customer
Our team are happy to advise on the suitable vehicle requirements when confirming your booking
6. Responsibility for Hire Items
The client is fully responsible for all hire items from the time of collection or delivery until return.
Items must not be left unattended in public or unsecured areas.
Hire items must be protected from weather unless confirmed as suitable for outdoor use.
No permanent alterations, drilling, nailing, stapling, gluing, painting, or structural modifications are permitted.
Open flames or candles must not be placed near wooden or painted hire items.
7. Damage, Loss or Theft
The client is liable for the full replacement cost of any damaged, lost, or stolen items.
Minor wear and tear from standard use is accepted; however, excessive damage will incur repair or replacement charges.
If damage exceeds the bond amount, the client agrees to pay the remaining balance.
8. Cleaning Policy
Items must be returned in the same clean condition as supplied.
Excessive cleaning (including wax, glue residue, tape, food waste, or liquid stains) will incur a cleaning fee.
Chalkboards must only be written on using standard chalk. Paint pens or permanent markers are strictly prohibited.
9. Cancellations & Changes|All payments, including deposits, are non-refundable.
Date changes may be accommodated subject to availability and at the discretion of Ava & Co Events.
If Ava & Co Events is unable to fulfil a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.
